Spring is bringing new growth, new energy, and new opportunities for connection at Restored Connections Peer Center.
One exciting new addition this season is our community overdose reversal trainings.
On May 19th, we launched our very first training in partnership with Ko-Kwel Wellness Center and Oregon Health Authority, and it was an incredible success.
Together, we were able to train more than 30 community members on the proper use of Narcan, and how to respond in an overdose emergency.
We are continuing to find new ways to engage our community, increase education, and help people feel empowered and prepared to save a life.
At RCPC, we understand that substance use does not just affect the individual. Its impact reaches families, friends, workplaces, and the entire community.
While our services remain focused on supporting individuals who identify with a history of substance use, these trainings can benifit everyone. We believe that education, compassion, and preparedness strengthen communities and create more opportunities to save lives.
