At Restored Connections Peer Center, leadership doesn’t look like a corner office or a title on a door. It looks like shared vision, lived experience, rolled-up sleeves, and the belief that recovery is possible for everyone—regardless of where they’ve been.
Restored Connections was born out of a clear need in our community: a place where people could access support before, during, and after treatment. A space where peer support wasn’t just a piece of the puzzle, but the foundation. From day one, our leadership team committed to building something that didn’t yet exist—a center that operates with compassion, accountability, and the courage to meet people exactly where they are.
Our growth has been intentional. From a handful of peer mentors with a dream to a robust team providing recovery housing support, outreach, Indigenous-led programming, and peer workforce training, every piece of Restored Connections has been built with care. We don’t just develop programs—we cultivate people. Our staff are hired for their heart and lived experience, then nurtured through training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development.
Leadership at Restored Connections means listening first. It means co-creating solutions, centering recovery voices, and remaining teachable—always. It means showing up at community walks, setting up tables in the rain, navigating tough moments with empathy, and holding high expectations because we believe in people’s potential.
We’ve witnessed incredible transformation—not just in the lives of those we serve, but in the lives of our team members. Individuals once on the margins are now thriving professionals. Peer mentors have become supervisors. Staff who arrived with uncertainty have grown into leaders with purpose.
What guides us is simple: recovery is real, and community is the way forward. Our leadership doesn’t just support that truth—it lives it.
