Summer is in full swing, and with it comes exciting news from Restored Connections Peer Center! We’re thrilled to announce that RCPC has officially reopened, and our team is adapting beautifully to the changes and improvements the center has undergone. The energy in the building is vibrant, and we’re so grateful to welcome our community back through the doors.
This past month, we had the honor of participating in Eugene Pride—another successful and joy-filled event celebrating love, identity, and inclusivity. It’s always a privilege to show up in solidarity with our LGBTQIA2S+ family and friends, and we’re proud to be part of a recovery community that embraces and uplifts everyone.
Looking ahead, July is shaping up to be a powerful month for healing and connection. Our Four Directions Indigenous Support Program is excited to launch its first-ever Wellbriety meeting, hold a sweat lodge ceremony, and host a community Longhouse dinner. These culturally rooted gatherings offer space for reflection, ceremony, and unity—and we look forward to welcoming all who feel called to attend.
We’re also excited to share that RCPC will be tabling as an exhibitor at Oregon Recovers’ Recovery Community Meeting in Portland. This event brings together recovery partners from across the state, and we’re honored to represent our region and connect with others doing this vital work.
And as temperatures rise, our outreach team is hitting the streets, offering hygiene kits and cooling supplies to individuals in need. Summer in Eugene can be beautiful—but also challenging for those without shelter or resources. We’re committed to showing up with compassion and support, one person at a time.
