Over the last few months, we’ve heard the same question from so many of you: What’s the plan for our luncheon and our gala next year? As our community knows, Restored Connections Peer Center has experienced a significant decrease in staffing capacity. This shift directly impacts our ability to navigate the level of detailed planning, coordination, and community engagement required to host our large-scale fundraising events.
While this pause is difficult, we want our supporters to know that we are not stepping away from these events permanently. Instead, we are taking a strategic, intentional approach. Throughout 2026, we will be focusing on rebuilding the internal capacity needed to deliver these events with the quality, heart, and community connection they deserve. This means dedicating time to rebuilding relationships with local partners, strengthening our network of community donors, and connecting with artists who may collaborate with us in future years.
With this groundwork laid, our annual Spring Luncheon will return in 2027, and our beloved Art Gala will resume as a biennial event in 2028. We will be reaching out well in advance with updates, invitations, and opportunities to get involved.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay tuned. Follow us on social media to learn more about our ongoing fundraising initiatives, upcoming announcements, and the many ways you can support the work we are doing every day in Lane County.
Even in a season of restructuring and rebuilding, our commitment to our community remains steadfast. We appreciate your patience, your encouragement, and your continued belief in the mission of Restored Connections Peer Center.
